The Estonian Garden Shawl

This is the most perfect something for a cool summer night - light and airy. This was the first time that I have ever used Euroflax and I couldn't have been more pleased. It blocked fabulously and I am sure will soften even more with subsequent washings.

Here it is draped in my garden:

And here, getting ready to be packed up and gifted:

Obligatory stats:
Pattern: Estonian Garden Shawl
Designer: Evelyn Clark
Yarn: Euroflax Fine/Sportweight
Yardage: 1,080 yd/4 skeins

It's gorgeous! You're really cranking these things out! :-) I can't imagine doing those nupps with linen, though.

Beautiful work! I am amazed at how many lovely shawls you have made in such a short time. I've been working on Estonian Garden scarf with Aegean Blue Jaggerspun Wool-Silk laceweight. It's coming along fine, but I'm a little slow. This is my first "real" lace attempt, but it's going well so far.

Thanks for posting such lovely pictures of your work. They are quite an inspiration to me to keep plugging away at mine.

I am so impressed. I knitted this shawl, too, but gave up on the borders and just did a simple horseshoe lace on each end. My chart reading skills need improving, which is why I am in the MS3.

I am so impressed. I knitted this shawl in perle cotton but had to give up on the borders and substitute a simple horseshoe lace pattern at each end. My chart reading skills need improving, which is why I, too, joined MS3. This comment might appear twice, since it did not seem to publish the first time?
